Delicious Exotic Pako Salad Recipe - Paco or Pako is one of the fern vegetables that Filipinos love to eat. This vegetable which has a scientific name of Athyrium esculentum, is usually eaten as salad or as a side dish to a main viand. Aside from its distinctive taste, paco is very well known to be healthy among Filipinos. However, people are not really aware of what is the nutritional value or benefits of this vegetable.   • 1 bundle of fiddle fern (Pako)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 salted egg
For the dressing:
  • 1/2 cup suka puti
  • 3 tbsps sugar
  • tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsps olive oil

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Mix the four ingredients.
  2. Shake the dressing in a bottle and drizzle on the pako.
