Burger Steak ala Jollibee Recipe - I decided to update the below recipe according my liking. The old and the updated recipe have been used by me for so many times. The reason for updating the recipe is that, sometimes the beef is good without flour and egg, and sometimes not. Well, I think it depends on you. You may add more ingredients spices if you like, but this is our us, Filipinos classic burger steak recipe. This has also been enjoyed by my siblings and my sister cooked this for many times.
Jollibee is a famous fast-food chain in the Philippines. They serve Fried Chicken, Burgers, French Fries, Spaghetti and a lot more. It’s almost same as McDonald’s, except of course, for the taste of the food they offer.
When dining out at Jollibee, I always go for Burger Steak and Peach Mango Pie. They are my absolute favorite! But no matter how much I love them, I just can’t go out every time I crave for them. So, I searched for a Burger Steak recipe. The searching went well and I was happy to have the recipe from Filipino Cooking Recipes.
Burger Steak ala Jollibee Recipe Ingredients:
Patty:
1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp chopped onion
1/2 tsp pepper
Mushroom Gravy:
3 tbsp soy sauce

Combine ingredients in a bowl.
Get at least 1/4 cup of the mixture, roll into a ball then flatten using your palm.
Pan fry the shaped mixture (do not overcook) and drain on paper towel to remove excess oil.
Gravy:

Saute onion and mushroom.
Add flour, whisk using a wire whisk until no more lumps.
Add beef bouillon and ground pepper.
Simmer until mixture thickens.
Pour over the sauce over the fried patties.
Serve with mashed potato and/or white steamed rice.
